An interpretation of Rene Magrti's masterpiece - the Listening Room in VR.
The context to this experiment was to test out the 360 stereo rendering workflow in Autodesk Maya. Always inspired by Magrits work, I picked The Listening Room to perform this experiment and quickly modeled, textured and lit a simple environment. The goal was to explore how it would feel like being inside the room depicted in the painting. The Left and Right Eye frames were rendered in Maya using the domemaster stereo plugin.
